Message from the Chairman of the Board

Running your own business when you have mental health challenges can be a daunting adventure. With the right support, the adventure can be both enjoyable and rewarding.

Opportunity Works provides the support and guidance that entrepreneurs with mental health challenges need to succeed and we do it all at no cost to our program participants. We have had a tough year, but we are recovering and coming up with new ways to support people in Calgary with mental health challenges start up and run their own business. Take a look at our Programs page to see what we are offering. We have a number of programs, from peer learning events to computer training, which can help our participants be successful.

If you want to see what Opportunity Works can do for you, drop in to one of our Healthy Minds Café events or a Peer Learning event and talk to a volunteer. You can also talk to one of our directors, or contact us for more information. A list of upcoming events will be available on our website very soon.
